Indy Pride Parade and Festival

The Indy Pride Festival is set for Saturday, June 10.
New for this year – we’re turning the time waiting for the parade to get started into an event unto itself. Rather than just standing around in the sun, we’ll hold a prayer service at the parade rally point and will provide face painting and other children’s activities.
Registration for the parade and festival is strongly encouraged so we can communicate with you most effectively. Participation in the parade is free of charge. Tickets are required for the festival and can be purchased ahead of time here. Volunteers who sign up for a one-hour shift at the festival booth will receive a free ticket.
Schedule of Events:
- 9:30 a.m. EDT – Prayer service & children’s activities at parade rally point (register to receive details)
- 10 a.m. EDT – Parade
- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT – Diocesan Booth
There will also be an optional orientation call on Tuesday, May 30 at 6:30 p.m. EDT / 5:30 p.m. CDT.
Participants are encouraged to increase our visibility by wearing their IndyDio Pride t-shirts. We have two design options: our new shirts (including youth sizes!) or shirts from last year. Both are available to order for home delivery. The order deadline is May 16 so they can arrive in time to wear for the Indy Pride Parade.
