EFHN & DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME CHANGE… SUNDAY, MARCH 11
Way back in 2015, during diocesan convention, each parish was asked to pick up a metal bucket at the Episcopal Fund for Human Need exhibit. Then they were asked that, when clocks changed for daylight savings time (A Day of Change), to encourage children and adults to toss all loose change into the bucket and give the collection to the Episcopal Fund for Human Need (EFHN). Since that fall we’ve been doing the “bucket brigade” for each daylight savings time change. These donations have helped change the lives of people who depend on the outreach programs of the 34 outreach agencies in our diocese that are supported by your Episcopal Fund for Human Need
The change to daylight savings time this spring is Sunday, March 11. Please get out your bucket and use the “bucket brigade”again to convert your small change to make a big change in the lives of others through EFHN.

SANCTUARY, NOT DEPORTATION
A group of diocesan clergy and lay leaders attended the Sanctuary meeting hosted by ICAN and The Center for Interfaith Cooperation on February 27. We were in the company of Unitarians, Muslims, Jews, as well as folks from many other Christian denominations. The meeting provided us with the basics of what’s happening with undocumented immigrants, their challenges, and how we can respond.
We decided to meet again and invite all who are interested in this topic. We will disseminate information and discuss ways we can respond to the possibility of a roundup of undocumented members of our communities.
For answers to your questions: Cathy Scott 317-441-8493 or catascot@sbcglobal.net, Fatima 317-459-0105 or fmadus@gmail.com
The next meeting will be Thursday, March 16, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at St. John’s, Speedway.
