BISHOP ELECT’S VISITATION SCHEDULE
Her visitation schedule is here on our diocesan website.

SANCTUARY, NOT DEPORTATION
A group of diocesan clergy and lay leaders attended the Sanctuary meeting hosted by ICAN and The Center for Interfaith Cooperation on February 27. We were in the company of Unitarians, Muslims, Jews, as well as folks from many other Christian denominations. The meeting provided us with the basics of what’s happening with undocumented immigrants, their challenges, and how we can respond.
We decided to meet again and invite all who are interested in this topic. We will disseminate information and discuss ways we can respond to the possibility of a roundup of undocumented members of our communities.
Please RSVP to Fatima Madus: 317-459-0105 or fmadus@gmail.com .
For answers to your questions: Cathy Scott 317-441-8493 or catascot@sbcglobal.net , Fatima 317-459-0105 or fmadus@gmail.com.
The next meeting will be Thursday, March 16, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at St. John’s, Speedway.

THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
How do you speak about the unspoken? Discover the subliminal and blatant messages in our culture around race, and explore ways to start courageous conversations about it. During this event, hear the experiences of people of color and ask questions in a non-threatening, respectful environment. Come join us at St. Christopher’s at 1402 W. Main, Carmel, Saturday, March 18, 1-3:30 p.m., and talk about what is still an enormous social issue.
Registration requested, but not required. You can register here.

HELP THE EPISCOPAL WOMEN’S MINISTRY HONOR DIOCESAN WOMEN

Here is more information , the guidelines and the application form. The deadline for submissions is March 10.
