THE RESTORATION PROJECT: WORKSHOP OFFERS TEACHING HELP ON BASICS CLASSES FOR ADULT FORMATION
The Rev. Suzanne Wille, Rector of All Saints, Indianapolis and member of the The Restoration Project (TRP) leadership team, will again offer a workshop on teaching The Basics Classes: Basic Anglicanism, Basic Bible, Basic Christianity, and Basic Discipleship.  The classes will be August 22nd through the 24th at  All Saints, Indianapolis. Cost: $130.
At churches throughout the country, the Basics Classes have been used to form inquirers, new Christians, and the lifelong faithful who are looking for “more.” Basics Classes can stand alone for adult formation or be part of the larger TRP approach and have been used in parishes to help move churches from acting as service providers to creating communities of active disciples.

During our time together, we’ll share:

  • how and why to do this work
  • why there are no gimmicks, only the slow work of long-term commitment
  • the core curriculum for the UPDATED Basics classes
  • time adapting the curricula to fit your church
  • big picture information about The Restoration Project

Interested? Read more information in this flyer or contact Suzanne Wille or 317-635-2538. Please register no later than August 8.

BISHOP JENNIFER’S LISTENING SESSIONS: SIGN UP FOR YOURS NOW!
The listening sessions all across the diocese are vitally important as Bishop Jennifer seeks to hear from as many people as possible about their hopes, dreams, and the challenges we see for our diocese.  Laity are invited to attend one of the sessions closest to them.  Sessions for diocesan lay leaders, priests, deacons, spouse/partners and youth have specific dates just for their group.  Bishop Jennifer has been working with the Executive Council and Ms. Susan Czolgosz of Holy Cow! Consulting to develop the sessions with this purpose:

  • Provide opportunity to deepen relationship between Bishop Jennifer and members from around the diocese
  • Dialogue about diocesan strengths and challenges as described in the diocesan profile
  • Further define what members of the diocese need from their Bishop and the Bishop’s staff

Each session includes prayer, a meal, and ample time for you to share your thoughts.  A full report of the sessions will be given to the diocese including a presentation with table discussions at diocesan convention in October.
Review a selection of dates and locations and register for one here.
