DESCRIPTION:God calls ALL believers to ministry. How can we grow closer to God such that we can hear that call? And once we’ve heard it\, how do we say “YES!” \nIn this day long retreat\, we will practice skills for hearing God’s call through various personal practices\, and information will be shared on how to enter into formal discernment if you think you may be called to ordained ministry. \nThis event is designed for all believers – those who are contemplating becoming deacons and priests as well as those seeking to deepen their spiritual response to their lay call. \nRegistration is required\, and a link to register will be posted closer to the event. DESCRIPTION:Waycross Camp and Conference Center and St. David’s\, Bean Blossom\, will host a Holy Hike at Waycross on Saturday\, May 28.\n\nThe group will meet at the youth lodge at 10 a.m. Eastern/9 a.m. Central to hike around the ridge\, ending back at the lodge for lemonade and Waycross cookies. The hike has a moderate incline at the beginning but should be accessible for most. The total distance is about one mile. Walking sticks are recommended as the terrain can be uneven in places.
