SUMMARY:The Spirituality of Howard Thurman
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, September 16th\, the diocesan Racial Justice and Education Team will offer a day-long workshop on the Spirituality of Howard Thurman – The Prayer that Undergirds Our Faith and Works. Rev. Thurman served as spiritual advisor to the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and many other leaders and activists of the civil rights movement in the 1960’s. Rev.
