In collaboration with the diocesan Racial Justice and Education Team and Hallowed Ground Interfaith, All Saints, Indianapolis is hosting a mass and poetry reading on July 1, at 6 p.m. Eastern / 5 p.m. Central for the Commemoration of Pauli Murray. Bishop Jennifer will preside.

The Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray was a queer priest, lawyer, poet, and civil rights pioneer and the first Black woman ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church. Come celebrate this twentieth century saint’s faithful witness to the Gospel and the intersectional nature of her work and lived experience. A reception will follow, featuring the work of local poets and Murray’s own works.

Sign up to attend the indoor service by emailing the Rev. Sam Vaught. The outdoor reception does not require an RSVP.
