students AdobeStock_64928416Each year, as summer draws to a close, many of you will find your college-bound students preparing to leave your parish to begin the next phase of their lives—their post-secondary education! For most of these young students, college is their first home away from home—their first community that they will call their own. During this time of transition from home to college, connecting with a campus ministry can be important for a sense of continuity. To help, here are the names of our University Chaplains and the addresses of the Episcopal Campus Ministries within the Diocese of Indianapolis. Our Episcopal Campus Ministries are places for fellowship and discovery where young people have the opportunity in a new environment to meet peers and exchange ideas while at the same time continuing their spiritual journey and intellectual growth.

Please share this information with your young parishioners who are about to leave for college. You’re also welcome to forward names of students directly to our University Chaplains. In past years, students have indicated that they were touched by a personal welcome and therefore encouraged to become part of a Campus Ministry.

Everyone, Welcome!

Grace Village is an ELCA Lutheran and Episcopal campus ministry at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. We invite everyone to join us in examining, questioning, and developing faith. We are located a block off campus at 626 N Martin Street.

Our door is open for anyone looking to hang out, play games, find a quiet place to study, or chat with a staff member. As always, snacks are available. During the semester we also visit congregations, lead worship services, outreach, and volunteer. We also have monthly movie nights, dinners, and special events.
