SUMMARY:Faithful Innovation Learning Communities
DESCRIPTION:Beginning in March \nA new cohort of Faithful Innovation Learning Communities\, a three-month program for congregations that want to identify where God is at work in their neighborhoods\, will begin in March. The program is open to all congregations\, but it is especially appropriate as a follow-up for churches who have completed the Church Buildings in Collaborative Partnerships project. Participating congregations will gather 3-5 people plus the clergy leader on a series of Zoom sessions to learn a process for getting to know their surroundings better\, more effectively connecting with their neighbors\, and practicing discernment and innovation. \nThe program is free of charge and open to any congregation in the Dioceses of Indianapolis and Northern Indiana. Registration is required.\n\nLearn more and register.

DESCRIPTION:Implicit Bias & Microaggressions: Faithful Reflection and Discernment of Next Steps \nRegister online to receive a Zoom link \nCome with an open heart to reflect upon your own personal biases. Together we will look at ways to name our biases\, recognize microaggressions\, and add tools to our belt to help us all create intentionally inclusive environments that recognize\, honor and celebrate all of God’s Beloved. \nThe workshop will be held via Zoom on Saturday\, January 29th\, from 9am – 12 noon EST. Registration is required. It will be led by Andrea Hunley. \nMs. Hunley is the Junior Warden of Christ Church Cathedral and is a member of Cathedral Women. She recently served as the Search Committee Chair\, helping to discern the call of the new Dean and Rector. Andrea is passionate about education\, community health\, and issues of access and equity. Since 2012\, she has served as the proud principal of an Indianapolis Public Schools K-8 building in the heart of downtown Indianapolis.

DESCRIPTION:From January 26 through April 6\, the Diocese of Indianapolis\, Union of Black Episcopalians and the diocesan Racial Justice and Education Team will co-sponsor Sacred Ground\, a video-based dialogue series about race developed by the Episcopal Church.\n\nThe group will meet Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Eastern / 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Central via Zoom for 11 sessions.
