DESCRIPTION:Online Lay Preaching Workshop\nJanuary 9 – February 23\n \nPreaching Among Friends\, a six-week online workshop for lay preachers\, is being offered by Backstory Preaching beginning in January. Suitable for both beginners and experienced preachers\, this course addresses the needs and perspectives of lay preachers. \nThe course will meet once per week for 75 minutes in the early evening for the first five weeks with an average of two hours of homework per week. In the sixth week\, the course will meet nightly as preachers draft their sermons in real time. Depending on the number of registrants\, multiple options for course times may be offered. \nThe Diocese of Indianapolis will cover the majority of costs for the course. Participants are asked to contribute $50 toward tuition. An early-bird discount of $30 will be offered through November 30.
