Alban’s Community Marketplace is a partnership between St. Alban’s\, Indianapolis\, the Devington Community Association\, and Indianapolis Northeast Rotary to provide access to fresh food in the middle of a food desert.\n\nAt the marketplace\, St. Alban’s Peace Garden and other local farms will provide locally grown produce. DESCRIPTION:On June 25\, members of Christ Church Cathedral will take a day trip to Cincinnati to explore the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and the Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust and Humanity Center.\n\nThe cost of the trip is $20 and includes transportation in an ADA coach and fees for both museums. Participants will pay for their own lunches at a local restaurant.\n\nThe group will leave at 8 a.m. and return around 6:30 p.m. There is space for 50 participants. Learn more and register.

SUMMARY:Iona Celtic Retreat
DESCRIPTION:From June 18-25\, 2022\, people of the diocese are invited to join Bishop Jennifer in a Celtic retreat on the sacred Isle of Iona\, off the western coast of Scotland. The retreat will be led by the Rev. John Philip Newell\, an internationally known expert on Celtic spirituality. \nThe group will spend a week at Iona in prayer\, learning\, sacred practice and community. Each morning\, Newell will teach on Celtic themes. Afternoons can be spent hiking\, in conversation\, in the abbey and sightseeing. Days will begin and end with communal prayer led by Newell\, who will also lead a pilgrimage walk around the nine-mile island. \nParticipants will stay at St. Columba Hotel\, which is a 3-minute walk to the abbey. The hotel offers comfortable rooms and excellent meals (breakfast and dinner included in the cost of the trip). St. Columba has organic gardens and eco-friendly policies and is a good steward of the environment. \nLearn more and register for the retreat.
