Pedro Andrade with his wife, Jessica Rosa, and their sons, Agata and Henrique
I am sorry to share the news that Pedro Henrique Correia Andrade, son of our dear friend Bishop Maurício Andrade of the Anglican Diocese of Brasília, died unexpectedly today after a long illness.
Pedro was a leader in the church in Brazil, serving as a coordinator of the 2015 National Meeting of the Anglican Youth Union and as a member of the committee that oversees the bilateral agreement between A Igreja Episcopal Anglicana do Brasil and the Episcopal Church. He had served as an acolyte of the Cathedral of Resurrection and a member of the youth commission, and in the Diocese of Pelotas, he was a member of the Parish Junta of the Redeemer Cathedral and served on several diocesan committees.
Pedro is survived by his parents, Bishop Maurício and Sandra, and by his wife, Jessica Rosa, and their two sons, Agata and Henrique. His funeral will take place this evening at the São Francisco de Paula cemetery in Pelotas. I know that Bishop Mauríco will be grateful to receive your condolences on Facebook Messenger.
May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
