Alternatives Incorporated

logo-clientAlternatives Incorporated of Madison County, a 501(c)(3) organization founded in November 1978, is a residential facility serving women and their dependent children who are victims of family violence and/or homelessness. The agency offers a comprehensive shelter program that goes beyond a “roof over the head” and seeks to assist families in moving from systems dependency to self-sufficiency.

The program operates on a case management system supported by a range of ancillary services. Services provided by Alternatives Incorporated are enhanced through collaboration and networking with a broad spectrum of community organizations.

Alternatives Incorporated of Madison County strives to eradicate family violence in all its facets through education, prevention, and intervention in Central Indiana.

Alternatives Incorporated of Madison County exists to promote the right of all persons to live in a loving, caring, safe, and secure environment.
